Christian Classics

Last week, one of the elders in our assembly spoke about Martin Luther's courageous stand for the Gospel which helped usher in the protestant reformation. That inspired me to listen to what Luther said in that great oration.
I had ordered this 9-CD set called "Classics of the Christian Faith" several months ago. We had decided to do Bunyan's classic "Pilgrim's Progress" together as a family, and decided to listen along as Max McLean narrated while we followed along in the book. The set also contained Luther's "Here I Stand" defense that he made at the Diet at Worms when called upon to renounce his numerous writings critical of the direction that the Roman Catholic church was moving in at the time.
Also included in the set is Jonathan Edward's "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," St. Augustine's "Conversion," and George Whitefield's "The Method of Grace." All of these are narrated by Max McLean, who narrates the Bible if you click the little speaker icon next to the "Verse of the Day" on this or the Hagen Homestead blog.

Click here to order your copy today! You will be greatly blessed.
