Weekly Words of Wisdom

I thought that this quote was particularly appropriate as Americans are now beginning to wake up to the fact that the nation of the people, by the people, and for the people is being threatened by those among us who would rather let the government take care of them than do anything for themselves; those who would rather have security than liberty; those who would trade their birthright for a mess of porridge.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. ~Samuel Adams
