Rush and Sean are liberals!

If you follow US politics at all, you know that the Obama administration has presented a budget proposal for the next year that would require 9.3 trillion dollars (that is $9,300,000,000,000) in new debt. That means that the budget is 9.3 trillion out of balance: meaning that we are spending 9.3 trillion more that we are taking in. That works out to $68,000 in new debt PER HOUSEHOLD in America. However, this is none too suprising in that the current administration seems to want to take over every aspect of the American economy.



What is really shocking and disappointing to me is that the house republicans claim to have a bill that is claimed to be "responsible" by not only the republicans in Congress, but by the likes of the Heritage Foundation, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Read the Heritage Foundation summary here. The republican alternative is touted as responsible because it ONLY adds 5.7 trillion dollars in new debt ($41,700 per household). How about NO additional debt? Has anyone ever heard of maybe just reducing spending? When families all across the nation are faced with financial crises, they have to cut their budgets. It is disappointing that even so-called "conservatives" have now signed on to add record levels of additional debt. These conservatives are not conservative at all, they are just less liberal than the extreme liberals that have taken over the democratic party.



This debt is like toxic waste in our economic system. Yes it is better to add only 5.7 tons of toxic waste into our drinking water rather than 9.3 tons, but again, how about adding NO MORE toxic waste into our already polluted system?
