I recently received a copy of the 2008 Witherspoon School of Law and Public Policy CD set. Whether you are an aspiring lawyer or just desire to be a better-informed citizen, this CD set will help you to view the legal issues that are current today through a biblical worldview. Doug Phillips kicked it off with a tremendous message, "Introduction to the Christian Foundations of Western Law." Former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, the Honorable Roy Moore, gives an inspiring message on "Christianity and the Courts," that includes much information on his court battles over the ten commandments in his courtroom and the Alabama courthouse. Jordan Lorence also gives an excellent presentation on "The Battle for Biblical Marriage." Larry Pratt gives an excellent overview of the Second Amendment and the 2008 US Supreme Court ruling that affirmed that as an individual right. Don Hart gives an often-frightening look at the current state of affairs with regard to parental rights in the US and looks particularly at the Texas polygamy case of 2008.
